About the Course

The curriculum of Humber College’s Mechanical Engineering Technician diploma program covers the theory and the skills required for:

  • engineering design and modelling
  • using solid works and AutoCAD
  • mechanical components and systems design
  • advanced manufacturing technologies
  • programming (CNC) machine tools using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software

The curriculum includes courses in solid mechanics, mechanical design, hydraulics, pneumatics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), maintenance techniques and manufacturing. You will be able to develop and implement manufacturing procedures to produce and manufacture system’s designs.
